Bill's own experience includes small-town retail during high school and college. His path became very clear as he was recruited during college to Capitol Records Distributing Corporation as a part-timer in warehouse and inventory control.

Bill's major at Southern Methodist University was Business Management. He gained outstanding experience as an officer in the ROTC Cadet Corps and summer tour at March AFB in Californa. His military experience included Personnel Administration at Headquarters Sixth Army at the Presidio of San Francisco and with NATO in France.

After the Army Bill returned to the recording business with industry leader Ampex Corporation, the world standard-setting company in Audio and Video recording equipment. He grew from a District Sales position in Atlanta to Regional Sales Manager in Dallas and finally to National Sales Manager in Chicago.
